2Gather is an open source, decentralized, not-for-profit alternative to exploitative, advertising-driven platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Tik Tok, Telegram, Signal, etc. They welcome users, donors, developers and contributors of all types! They are a combination of community, shared vision and collaboration to reclaim and democratize the digital commons.
2Gather is working for a self-sovereign data commons with community hosting, 100% “realness,” digital citizens assemblies, personal mobility and doing together what cannot be done alone.
