Innovación Ciudadana
Innovación Ciudadana (Citizens’ Innovation) facilitates “Citizen Innovation Laboratories” (LABIC) across the Ibero-American world. A LABIC is a space for experimenting, collaborating, and accelerating innovative projects that arise directly from citizens that become useful solutions to social, cultural, environmental, and economic challenges.
The work of LABICs is guided by experimentation, creativity and collaboration to achieve the resolution of social problems with open technologies and methodologies (digital, social, ancestral), through the direct involvement of the affected community itself. LABICs are a methodology developed by the Ibero-American General Secretariat in 2014 and are now working in all Ibero-American countries.
