La Taula Eix Pere IV
La Taula Eix Pere IV is a citizens’ platform comprised of residents and cooperatives from the neighborhoods of Poblenou in Barcelona. They organized an open assembly 10 years ago with a goal of social, cultural and economic reactivation of their community, which had been abandoned by industry and business. 1,300 people participated in diagnosis and 400 in the debate and deliberation of proposals.
20 proposals for preserving the neighborhood’s historic heritage while revitalizing the economy emerged from the process and now act as the roadmap for ongoing community revitalization.
