My Dog Eats First
My Dog Eats First provides support in a judgement free environment for homeless individuals and families who are committed to the health and wellness of their pets and desire to keep them. Keeping the homeless united with what in most cases is the only living thing that provides them with companionship, protection and unconditional love is a key to emotional survival and eventual recovery.
This also reduces shelter overcrowding and saves healthy, loved pets from unnecessary surrender/euthanasia by keeping them with their families. The organization’s motto is that “Everyone deserves someone that makes them look forward to tomorrow.”
