RASA
The purpose of RASA network (Red de Alternatives Sustentables Agropecuarias) is the construction of experiences to further sustainable development for the most vulnerable rural inhabitants of the Mexican state of Jalisco.
RASA’s work began in 1999 with seven rural communities in the state of Jalisco, which share the mission of strengthening family and sustainable agriculture, a commitment to maintain the dignity of rural life and contributing to the solution to the rural poverty and care of nature. RASA is made up of 20 local groups comprised of 100 families dedicated to the production of food from an agro-ecological perspective for self-consumption and trade.
