Quiero mi Barro
Quiero mi Barrio, (QMB -I Love my Neighorhood) was started by the government of former Chilean President Michelle Bachelet to address chronic problems in at risk barrios by the simplest low cost, high impact means possible, starting with attention and visibility.
Solutions originally ranged from paint and signage to public attention and opportunities for residents and local leaders to partner with outside organizations, businesses and government to turn their communities around. QMB has now spread across the southern Andes.
