Democracy R&D
Democracy R&D works collaboratively to develop, implement, and promote democratic practices that incorporate everyday people in major public decisions which our present structures inhibit.
The work is done via processes that are representative, deliberative, free from manipulation, informed, and influential. Groups of everyday people are selected randomly to ensure a diversity of views and to limit conflicts of influence and partisan pressures. No positions are taken on any policy outside of the need for democratic innovation in order to make the process as fair and unbiased as possible.
